Long train comin

It's been a long time since I have gotten on here to update this thing. Alot has happened since the last time I updated. I will need to start updating this quickly to get back up to speed.

I finally made my break for it and moved to Dallas! It was a long time coming. Too long, almost. And guess who I'm living with.... If you guessed Chris, you are sadly mistaken. I live with good old Felisha Cortez! Crazyness, I know. Me living with a chick.l thought that would never happen. But it has, and I love it. Felisha is a good roommate, and a caring friend at that, too.

As I write this, I'm sitting on the couch watching the hunger games... Chick flick, I know.. But I still haven't seen it yet and mom and dad keep talking about how good it is.  Felisha is passed out (or was)  on the couch next to me. I for once, have time to kill it seems. Work was long and a little boring. Luckily, we get to wear shorts and t shirts to work for the rest of the month! Not only that, I have actually saving sme money now that I'm bringing my lunch to work every day... I actually went to the gym during lunch and worked out with Ervin, the huge black guy from my work. The guy is jacked, and only 28, but he looks 24-25 and he crushed me in the gym.. It was nice being able to work out and have a spotter there that can push me a little, and I think it will help in the long run.  It's kind of nice working out during lunch because it gives me more time to do stuff in the evening. Today was much needed.. I don't get to see felisha very often now that she has a boyfriend.. And yes this is about to get wield, lol but her boyfriend is Keith.. Omalley. Yah, no way am I making that stuff up. Keith and Katie actually broke up... And almost like immediately afterward, he started dating felisha. I still don't know how I feel about the whole situation. Katie is still considered a friend to me, but so is Keith. He's a good dude and one of my best friends. Lately, when he was still with Katie, he got super flakey but now he's not so much flakey.. I think part of that is because he knows I live with felisha so he knows if he woos me over it would put him in a good spot with felisha, and part because he is over here all the time that I just happened to be here. The reason I don't know if I'm for it is because I don't think Keith is a Christian.. And felisha is a huge Christian. I just feel like god would want her to be with someone with a Christian background... But who knows, I'm not one who can judge and Keith might become the next billy graham, I have no clue.

My birthday is in 2 weeks! I will be 26 years old . Crazy yet I still feel so young.. I have so much to accomplish.

I also found a great great church called the porch at watermark.. Its seriously a great thing I found out about this church. Unfortunately, I can't quite remember if I had been praying to find a church or not when I moved to Dallas, pretty sure I did though and I found a good one here. It's like a huge youth group... The age range is between 22-35 and about 1300 people show up to it every Tuesday. The minister is awesome! I think he is like 27 or so, but all his sermons make sense. They are like perfect for what every person around my age needs to hear. The girls here... Yeah, all pretty. I've been talking t some new ones every single Tuesday at I go. I also really like the small group shindig afterwards.. It's called community. I've met a really cool guy there named Toby, who is becoming one of my best friends lately. No more hanging out with Pi kapps really, anymore, besides Chris. It was crazy that I came here on a whim and by myself, showed up, talked to one guy and told him I was new here and asked him where the sanctuary was, and that guy somehow found me among 1200 other people to show me small groups. I wasn't even really interested when he told me about them.. I was kind of dreading it actually, walking with him down the hall to the small groups area. But after the first session, I became hooked. And I don't just go to Tuesday's events only, either. I go to numerous other ones, and quickly my friends list is changing as I'm adding new Christian girls that I can rely and confide in and christian guys that will have my back.

Yesterday, after work, Chris actually made an appearance at the porch for the very first time. He had promised me the Tuesday before that he would come out the following Tuesday.. He actually moved in with his sister and doesn't live with his parents anymore. On top of that, Chris is also talking to a really nice girl named Veronica that he is actually dating now (Toby and I set him up) and so far so good. After the service which was solid, instead of going to small groups, we walked around and met people. I introduced Chris to numerous people, including people I don't even know, and a girl named meera, who is 30 years old and a girl that I'm actually interested in. Which leads me to another story.

So I met a girl named meera last Friday after work at a worship service event for people that went to Launch, which is pretty much a youth camp event. It was really cool actually.. Except the part where Toby and I got lost and wandered around "the village" apt trying to find where everyone was at. Everyone had met on the baseball fields and were gathered around a guy playing guitar, and everyone was singing. It was really peaceful. I didn't know any of the words to any of the songs, but it was still way better than going to uptown. After the service was over and we were about to leave, I met meera for the first time and 3 of her friends. She seemed attracted to me at first.. She was acting very shy around me which is always a good
