As I type this, there is some annoying 50 year old lady with a lisp behind me talking about how drunk she got over the weekend and how much all these young guys were hitting on her. Md annoying. Anyway, my weekend went by pretty quick again, and here I am at lunch on Monday. Today flew by pretty quick as well. I'm stumped with the 3 loans I'm still continuing to work on from Friday and I hope I get them done ASAP. Today is also presidents day, so the streets and the cubicles at my work are deserted. I was wondering how I got to work so early.
Over the weekend I really just chilled out. I watched BEAN with my sister, and I went out Friday and Saturday to the bar in downtown fort worth with kolby. Apparently we are cool again. Some of his old friends from high school apparently rented out a hotel in downtown fort worth for the weekend and they were all going downtown to celebrate. I wasn't really in the mood on Friday because I was mad tired and drained from work already. In fact, right after work, I left and went straight over to hulen mall area to eat with my parents, sister, and Bryan. I guess straight is kind of an understatement. More like diagonal. Or zig zag. My dad gave me awful directions so I ended up getting lost and somehow wound up in kennedale area all the way over by Arlington on the 20. My gps on my phone led me to a dark alleyway that I was sure I would probably get robbed in if I stayed longer than a moment to catch my bearings. I finally managed to find where I was and managed to find the place after another long 30 min of driving.
It was nice to catch up with Bryan. He is only in town for this week, so hopefully we can hang out. After dinner, I went back home with the family and watched part of bean with Stacey. That's when kolby started blowing up my phone,.... Well, he was blowing it up most of the day but moreso now about the hotel party shindig. I was still debating if I wanted to go or not, chris was at some wedding thing and Shadi had Spanish homework he had to study. Anyway, I ended up going and met all of them at library. Kolby had previously texted me and told me it was him and another guy and 11 girls. He wasn't lying.
From the looks of it, when I walked over to their group next to the pool table, dressed sharp with my blazer and 5 o'clock shadow, I went straight up to kolby and shook his hand. I def. Gt a head turn from a majority of the group, which is always a good sign, and I saw some playful giggling between a few of them amongst each other which basically signifies to me, the were down. Kolby was playing pool so rather tha stand there awkwardly, I went and got myself a drink. I wanted something new and improved this time, something crazy with a touch of silly. The first drink that came to find was a vodka tonic.

New and improved
It's been awhile since I have updated this thing and I have already broken my promise about updating this thing on a daily basis... I'll try and catch up right now on what's been going on lately.
2/16 today. Today has blown by pretty quickly at work. I actually got more sleep than usual (like 15 minutes more) and I'm not tired at work. I was so involved in working the loan from yesterday that I didn't take a break until 12. I'm slowly starting to get how to navigate thru all the systems to get the answers I need. I also see why these loans can take super long too and get really intensely complicated. Luckily, I finished all the loans I had and the one I have been working on all morning I sent to SLR to review. That SLR is shaiza, who I feel as though I'm starting to wear my welcome with because I'm constantly asking questions. I don't think she takes into account that I have no underwriting experience and just assumes I know everything, Including all the underwriter terms and lingo. Oh well, I don't care what she thinks, I'm still going to ask a million questions when I get back from lunch.
2/15 the highlight today was that I got to go the mavs game and watch them play the nuggets. I got a text from my BFF Maria who told me she couldn't make it to the game tonight but Sam, Shadi, moo rehouse, and kaley all can still go. I still felt deep down that moorehouse(we call her frosted flake for a reason) and kaley aka (BAIL-ey) were going to flake in the end, but they actually ended up pulling through. I was seriously impressed. Sam had to back out for ritual stuff with Pi kapp, and shad was going to show up late because his sister has school today so he has to fill in for her. Either way, it was going to be a good time.
I made the mistake of wearing a cardigan today with pants and a button up. Yeah I looked stylish, but I forgot that for whatever reason they turn the heat up after lunchtime. I really don't know why. After my lunch, I literally had a mini-panic attack because I was about to overheat... Maybe I need more coolant or something. Lol. I couldn't leave and take a break at that time either because I was just on break... So yeah I was in a bad spot. I couldn't even proceed with loans because it was so hot. I just stared blankly at the computer screen. I tried the infamous breath out of your mouth and blow the exhaled breath up to cool my face, but that only works so well. Needless to say, I managed to survive somehow.
After the game, I headed to the nearest walmart or target (I got lost during lunch trying to find one that was supposedly located only 10 minutes away from work because my gps kept re-calculating) and because of that, I was later than expected. Kaley and moorehouse were already at ginger mans when I got there finally. They were sitting on the "patio" which most people would consider the back, but in real terms they were sitting right out front and didn't even alert me where they were when I walked past them. What great friends.
After that, we headed to stub hub building to pick up the tickets. We ended up getting lost on the way back because we took the wrong elevator and ended up walking around in circles. It was pretty funny.
When we finally made it to the game, my phone was on the verge of dying so I gave shads number to moorehouse. Shad was supposed to call moorehouse whenever he had arrived. For whatever reason, moorehouses phone deleted his number randomly and my phone was too dead to start so we just had to wait in hopes he would contact us and that her phone would work (she was having tech issues all the time with it). Luckily, he called and we all met up.
The overall game was fun.. We blew them out by like 20 or 30, but we had some highlights all the way including some drunk guy screaming obscenities behind us even though the mavs were up big. Calm down, buddy. What's funny is the chick he brought was hot. Whatever she saw in him, nobody knows. Near the end of the game we moved down a few rows and were standing up and ANOTHER guy was yelling at us to sit down. People take this game way too seriously I guess. After the game was over we all headed back home.

I was at work though, so my free time was limited to being able to answer him and my phone died after work was over. Ka,ey ended up texting him and telling him about the mavs game we were at and he ended up flipping out on me on the phone. Luckily, I put myself kaley(who called to try and warn me that chris was nuts) shad and chris on the line. Let hilarity ensue. See chris has to work and usually can never request off from work, so I really doubted he would've been able to make the game... But according to him I should've still asked him anyway because, "I can get off whenever I want too."

Coolas
Today was another long day. I swear, they always forget to turn the AC on after 2 when I get back from my lunch. Today at least, I got to finally log into and start up my computer.... Kinda. I got past the first screen and got my A number (just like at fidelity) but I'm missing an AU number or some crap so I still can't log into the computer totally yet. Ad because of this, this meant another long day of shadowing Charles and watching him do loans.
For the second day in a row, Quincy and I sat with Charles and watched him do loans. Charles is a pretty cool cat, real laid back, real helpful, and always down to chill. The whole time I thought he was a Christian but he is actually a jahova's witness... Pretty crazy, and pretty sad at the same time because he isn't really a Christian. The day went by pretty slow again as usual. I took my usual designated breaks to go check my phone and I found out from Charles that some Mexican chick 2 cubicles down thinks I'm hot... But like I said in my earlier posts, there is virtually no hot girls on the floor. Besides my manager, and a MILF 2 cubicles down. Both are married/boyfriended though. I still don't know half the people on my team, and apparently, Friday is jersey day so I might officially be breaking out my Paul pierce shirt that bates got me for Christmas. Ohh yess. The super bowl is this Sunday so I got to find a super bowl, party to be attending for sure.
I went out to lunch with charles (Quincy was going to come but he only had a 30 minute lunch). He ended up driving and we went to chick filet. He kept going on and on to both Quincy and me about how much I look like the twilght guy and that I could probably get any girl I wanted. I guess what he is trying to say, is that I got that twilight swag. Lol. I told him the stories about both Shadi getting that girl and about the kolby situation. He thought kolby was being immature about it and that he thought it would blow over in the end. He also mentioned something to me about wanting to start his own company when he gets the funds, similar to a snow cone shop but with better ice. He also told me he hates water... Lol. So random.
At about 430 I asked Lindsey if she had any work for me and she didn't so I just chilled and texted on my phone. I'm pretty sure I'm going to start a 9-6 shift because that should be easy once I get my own pad.
In other news, Kara actually responded to my message on her wall (I put that it was nice meeting her) and said she enjoyed meeting me too and that we need to get together and talk about the test thing she is studying for and also asked where I lived. This all sounds good and dandy, just for the fact that my friend kolby likes her even though she friend zoned him and I'm kind of stuck now on what to do, moreso now than before because kolby is pissed at me for supposedly "going after her." Ill explain more about this later when I get a minute.
I worked shoulders out at the gym and we had a mini-scare because stacey's little, Victoria, was missing and her dad filed a police report. Apparently the police called Stacey asking where she was... That's random. Her car had been at the tri delt house since 3pm. Apparently what had happened, was that Victoria had lied to her parents and told them she was hanging out with Stacey but I guess a family member has asked Stacey where she was and Stacey said she hadn't talked to her all day. Lol wow.
